A Bloody Good Read

Sharpe's Devil

Sharpes Devil 1820-21 Chile
Published: 1 February 1990

Sharpes Waterloo gets 3 1/2 Stars

In my eyes a sharpe novel to far, lacks the intensity of the earlier novels. I feel the story of been best left at the end of Sharpe's Waterloo.

Though well researched and written as all Sharpe Books are, it suffers from too many new characters, new situations and new landscapes to find any sense of familiarity at all.

Read it for more completeness sake, rather than with great expectations.

Synopsis
